Selected Non-Profit Experience:
A major UK emergency charity – to audit and assess the digital estate with recommendations paving the way to a future state replatform and changes to processes.
A global NGO in Ireland and UK – I used a bespoke framework with capability modelling to analyse the marketplace and potential fit of candidate marketing automation systems with analysis of vendors and recommendations.
Christian Aid – I selected and architected the digital platform solution and oversaw the build which had a range of integrations to CRM and donation software based the Tridion CMS platform and a custom Microsoft .NET front end.
Parkinson’s and MS Society – I oversaw the teams doing the Drupal CMS builds for both sites which included donation payment and discussion forums to support members.
Water Aid – I worked in parallel with the digital strategy team on a tech consultancy and strategy. I did a full technology audit and assessment, created a user story backlog, applied it to a platform capability model to select a central digital platform and create a solution architecture which included delivery partner recommendations. The solution would serve all global offices and consolidate their digital services as well as set them up for extending them to multi-channel marketing for supporters and integrations with payment and CRM systems, based on Drupal.
International Red Cross Commission – I led the strategy team gathering requirements to define a new digital platform to overcome legacy system issues that were not online optimised. The build was based on the Percussion CMS and Java applications to extend it.
British Heart Foundation – This was a digital transformation project to scale and connect up all the complex organisation systems and integrate them with a brand new digital platform. We used Sitecore .NET CMS as the basis for managing national campaigns, supporter donations and information resources.
British Medical Association – This was one of several professional association clients. For BMA, we delivered a modern digital platform based on Sitecore CMS to overcome a complex network of disconnected systems based on legacy IBM Notes software and add personalisation and community management features via Telligent Community Server.
Selected Public Sector Experience:
UK Prison Service – Developed interactive multimedia kiosks that presented the timeline of a day in prison and showcased prisoner artwork.
Department of Education – Oversaw the development and ongoing management of the national teacher’s portal on teaching standards.
British Council – Managed the development of multiple Drupal sites for teaching English as a Second Language for certification globally.
Policing – Designed technology solutions for citizen portals to create more digital channels to communicate with citizens and offer services online.
Justice – Designed conceptual solution for online transformation of a courts system to enable digital for booking cases, video links by witnesses.
